This 1940 Packard 120 Station Wagon is one of about 150 made, with only four left. Of course there may be one or two more out there that could be in private collections. The Inverness Green color was an "introductory color", along with two others, which were only offered for the first three months. If you bought an introductory car you received front and rear bumper guards, radio and heater at no charge!
This car has the "Goddess of Speed radiator mascot, representing speed, power and grace. It's equipped with a 282 cubic inch L-head straight 8, overdrive transmission (5 gears in all), dual side-mount spares (the only one we've seen), six-button radio, electric clock, Super Deluxe heater and defroster, banjo style steering wheel and locking gas cap.
